Memory of Water
Three quarters of the planet is covered by water, but we have an ambivalent relationship with it. In times of drought we can die of thirst, we can drown in floods, but between these two extremes water is life-enhancing. Yet it’s something we take for granted.
MEMORY OF WATER explores the way water reflects and refracts light to create an unfamiliar world out of the familiar: a fragmented world where nothing is seen distinctly, and everything is viewed through the reflecting and refracting properties of water.
